The doctor who injected himself with Charlie Sheen’s HIV+ blood says he cured a country using goat’s milk.
|||Charlie Sheen’s controversial Aids doctor might be a quack, but he thinks he’s the GOAT.
That’s because not only does Dr Samir Chachoua claim that goat’s milk can cure Aids, he says he’s used his treatment to rid an entire country of HIV and Aids.
Chachoua made this astonishing claim on US television last night, a statement made all the more remarkable by the fact that he isn’t licensed to practise medicine in the US. Nevertheless, he has been treating Sheen and claims to have made significant progress with the errant star.
According to Chachoua, his cure, “based on the milk of arthritic goats, had made the virus 'undetectable',” in Sheen. This is because, allegedly, the CAEV virus in the milk “destroys HIV and protects people who drink it for life”.
Among Chachoua’s alleged happy clients is the island of Comoros, where Chachoua claims he eliminated the presence the HIV virus in 2006. Chachoua cannot, however, offer any scientific evidence to back his claims.
Sheen, who last year revealed he had been living with HIV for four years, stopped taking anti-retroviral medication to test out Chachoua’s treatment in Mexico. He admitted, during an appearance on the Dr Oz show last month, that his HIV numbers were “up”.
Chachoua, however, claims otherwise, saying that because of his treatment, Sheen is “the first adult in history to go HIV negative”.
