This week’s couple had both lost a parent, and the groom wanted his wedding to be “a gift to their surviving parents”.

Shy and emotional Vusi Biyela met his sweetheart Naledi a while ago and knew immediately that she would be the love of his life.

Both Vusi and Naledi lost one of their parents, and Naledi became a pillar of strength for Vusi when he lost two of his sisters shortly after his mom’s death.

The couple welcomed two children into the world - a boy and a girl, who was one of the flower girls.

During the sit-down interview, the groom said the wedding was ”a gift to their surviving parents”, after the tragedies they'd endured .

Speaking of the parents, Naledi’s family were left behind by the driver, due to a lack of organisation. This proved to be a small glitch, however, as they were on time for the ceremony.

Walking down the aisle in a white dress has always been a dream of Naledi’s, and she made a lovely bride indeed.

Her cousin, however, was not impressed, as she felt that Naledi would have looked better in a yellow dress. Why? Ypur guess is as good as ours.

The bridesmaids' one-shoulder dresses were bright peach with a hint of sparkle. Simple and elegant.

The peach, grey and white colour scheme tied in with their attire. Which brings us to the groom’s suit - which did not. His chequered box-tie and pocket square did not harmonise with the colour scheme. In fact, the groomsmen - sad to say - looked better than the groom did on his big day.

Did we mention that the décor was also simple and on point.

The stunning three-tiered cake with their initials, was perched atop a table wrapped in silky fabric.

It was a “show-stopper", according to Naledi.

This week's young couple was all about simplicity, and the results were beautiful.
