Wild and whacky funnyman Kurt Schoonraad headlines the next Hanover Street Comedy Sundowners at GrandWest.
|||The wild and whacky funnyman from Mitchell's Plain, Kurt Schoonraad, headlines the next Hanover Street Comedy Sundowners at GrandWest on Sunday, 4 September 2016.
For most Cape Town comedy fans, Schoonraad is an instantly recognisable face, having done the rounds at comedy venues and festivals for over a decade.
Some of his stage accolades include the Smirnoff Comedy Festival and the Cape Town International Comedy Festival. He is also remembered as the accidental tourist on the hit SABC TV series Going Nowhere Slowly and for his role as the protagonist on the game show Crazy Games. Although hilariously funny, he performs a clean act focusing on the widespread diversity of South Africa's rainbow nation's varied cultures.
September's Hanover Street Comedy Sundowners will also feature Melt Sieberhagen as host and supporting acts Milo Hot Chocolate, Justin Ray and open mic, Obed Plaatjes.
The doors will open at 17h00 and the festivities will kick off at 18h00. The cost to enter is R55 per person, strictly for over 18s. Contact 082 588 6662 to book.
