SA movie Tell Me Something Sweet is still winning awards at international film festivals, they added BlackStar Film Festival to the list
|||Tell Me Sweet Something was released in September last year. It pulled in over R2 million at the box office with the film getting raving reviews from viewers.
It also featured at a number of festivals, scooping a couple of awards along the way. They have now added an award from the BlackStar Film Festival for Best Narrative Feature.
The annual awards ceremony takes place in Philadelphia and aims to celebrate films by and about African people on a global scale.
Director Akin Motoso revealed the news on social media expressing excitement.
