On the night Bobbi Kristina Brown died, her relationship with Nick Gordon was on “shaky” ground, says ex-lover.
|||New details about the night Bobbi Kristina Brown died have been revealed. An eye witness account by Max Lomas, who had previously dated the troubled daughter of the late Whitney Houston, reveals a tragic tale of heavy drug abuse and heartbreak.
Lomas, who remained friends with Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend Nick Gordon despite their romantic past, told People magazine that the couple were on “shaky” ground on the night she died from a drug overdose.
He claims that Bobbi Kristina was particularly incensed about a boys night out at a strip club, and accused Gordon of cheating on her with a stripper.
“Things were shaky,” says Lomas.
“They were just trying to stay out of each other's way.”
Their favoured method of escape was drugs.
Lomas claims he cannot remember everything about that fateful day.
“When you are living that kind of lifestyle, it's hard to remember each day. They all kind of blended together.”
But what he does remember is finding Bobbi Kristina unconscious in the bath at her Roswell, Georgia, home on January 31, 2015.
Her autopsy report revealed that cannabis, alcohol, sedatives and anxiety medications contributed to her untimely death.
Gordon was slapped with a $40-million wrongful death civil suit by the Houston estate, with allegations that he had abused Bobbi Kristina.
According to Lomas, that relationship was characterised by “ extreme highs and lows” and “ fights over jealousy”.
