|||As you walk into the Kaya House in Parktown North, you are greeted with the soulful sounds, live band and beautiful food aroma.
This was the first Kaya live and unplugged session presented by Castle Milk Stout and the soul sounds of Thembisile Ntaka.
Singer, song-writer, and aspiring chef, J'Something of the band Micasa prepared the sophisticated, Stout inspired meals.
'Save me' hit maker, Thembisile took listeners through her musical journey , as she showcases songs from her new album Thula. As Kaya FM listeners were treated to powerful vocals the guests were indulging in the soulful meals; stout infused roasted chicken with potatoes and chocolate mousse for dessert.
When asked where she has been, Thembisile enthusiastically said “ I have been around but mostly doing corporate events, that are not covered by the media, hence people thought I had disappeared, with the new album, my fans will see and hear more of me”.
Thembilisile also said that she is excited about the new album as it was produced under her own record label Ntaka Music or Productions.
This VIP event was broadcast live at Kaya FM during Georgie in the Afternoon from 1-2pm on a Friday. The recipes were created exclusively to complement the flavour profile of the stout and ensure a delight for the palate.
