|||Dj Bongs joined a list of fellow South African artists like Ricky Rick -who sold off a vest for R700- who are selling merchandise at “ridiculous” prices. The music producer and Dj came out with his grey 'Gwara Gwara' cap, retailing at R800.
South African artist have embraced the retail aspect of their art and from TV presenters to rappers, they are producing local products for their fans. Pricing is a bit tricky as the economic status means people are not willing to spend ridiculous amounts over non-essential products.
