Idols winner Karabo does song for Disney series soundtrack.
|||After winning the 2015 edition of Idols, Karabo Mogane is determined to prove he’s still the “mane” man in SA music.
It’s quite a fairytale story: after being whisked off to Los Angeles to watch the finale of American Idol, Mogane was snapped up to perform on the soundtrack for a new Disney Junior movie, titled The Lion Guard.
The film is a spin-off of the popular series of Lion King movies and TV shows. It follows the adventures of Kion, the son of Simba and Nala, who becomes a guardian of the pride lands.
Mogane is super excited about the new venture.
“Hi all, I am so excited to announce that I have recorded a song called “Here Comes The Lion Guard” from the brand new Disney Junior series ‘The Lion Guard’!” he gushed on Instagram.
“Can’t wait to share it with you! #DisneyJunior #DStvChannel309 #LionGuard.
“The Lion Guard airs on Disney Junior everyday at 18:30. A truly beautiful celebration of family, diversity, friendship and adventure! So excited.”
